Installation Guide

Step-by-step instructions to set up PayPortalX for payments.

1. Download & Install

Download the latest version of the PayPortalX plugin.
Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New.
Click Upload Plugin, select the ZIP file, and install.
Activate the plugin.

2. Stripe Setup

Create a free account at Stripe.com.
Enable payment methods like Credit Card, iDEAL, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Go to API Keys and copy your Publishable + Secret key.
Paste your keys into the plugin under Stripe Settings.
Toggle the methods you want to offer (Apple Pay, iDEAL, etc.).

3. PayPal Setup

Choose between Simple (just email) or Advanced (Client ID + Secret).
For Simple: enter your PayPal email. Done.
For Advanced: go to developer.paypal.com and create a REST API app.
Paste your Client ID and Secret into the plugin.

4. Crypto (optional)

Select your crypto provider (Coinbase Commerce or NOWPayments).
Paste your API key under Crypto Settings.

5. Test & Go Live

Create a test product (e.g. €0.50) and do a test payment.
If successful, your checkout is ready for real transactions.
Done! You are now fully connected with PayPortalX 🚀
